Privacy Policy

The Renovation Crew (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described below. This policy explains what we collect when you ask us for a quote, why we hold it, and how to get it removed.

What we collect

• Your name, phone number, email address and postcode
• Details of the work you are enquiring about — service, property type, timescale, budget guide and anything you type into the message box
• Standard technical data your browser sends (IP address, device and browser type) and, if you consent to analytics cookies, anonymised usage data

Why we hold it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, produce a written quote, and carry out the work if you go ahead. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you initiated, and performance of a contract once you accept a quote.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is stored in our CRM (GoHighLevel) and is visible only to the people in the business who need it to quote or run your job. We do not sell, rent or pass your details to any lead-generation network, and we do not share them with other trades unless your job specifically requires it and you have agreed to it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 24 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years, which is the period we may need them for warranty, insurance and tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will act within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
